We are proud of our Air Force and our history. Since King Abdullah I founded the Air Force in 1948 and King  Hussein assumed his supreme command in 1952 and King Abdullah II in 1999, the Air Force has grown from a few transport aircraft into a modern fighting force.

 Over the years we have faced many threats with both success and setbacks. Our Air Force has not always been equipped with the most up-to-date aircraft and weapons but our training and spirit have always been of the highest.
