ROYAL JORDANIAN
AIR FORCE COLLEGE
OF AVIATION SCIENCES
FOR A GRADUATE PERFECTLY FIT IN BOTH WORLDS
Just like Jordan, the RJAF is always keen on
taking a step ahead of others in pursuit of
excellence.
The establishment of RJAF College for Aviation
Sciences has countless benefits for the Force and
its students and graduates.
According to college goals, the graduates will be
perfectly qualified to achieve excellence during
their military service, while their skills are highly
demanded in the aviation industry after they
leave the Air Force, not only in Jordan, but also in
the region, as the majors offered currently, and
those planned for the future, are unique.
The story of RJAF College of Aviation Sciences
started in 2015, when an agreement with
Al-Bayt University, which is located near King
Hussein Air Base, was signed, under which a
joint university college was established to offer
a BA degree in aviation science and Air Traffic
Control (ATC) and Air Navigation.
The first batch of Aviation Sciences students
graduated in August 2018, as the duration of the
program is three years, divided into 7 semesters,
135 credited hours (85 hours in the academic
phase and 50 hours in the practical phase).
Students who completed the requirement of
a bachelor's degree in ATC and Navigation
graduated two months later.
Study plans have been compared to those of
international universities, with cooperation
established with Embry Riddle and North Dakota
universities, which offer real-time access to their
lectures through video conferencing.
