WHERE WE ARE NOW HIGHLIGHTS

In 2017, students with diploma degrees, which are
offered from King Hussein Air College, were enrolled in
the program under a bridging system that allows them
to complete their university degrees.

By January 1, 2019, the agreement with Al-Bayt
University was due to be terminated and therefore the
College had to seek accreditation from the Ministry
of Higher Education. Initial endorsements were
obtained and the College managed to go independent
from Al-Bayt University as an Aviation College,
with ambitions to transform into the Middle East's
first Aviation University. Already, the College has
been equipped with the training aids and equipment
required for this matter, including a $25-million
simulator that does not exist anywhere else in the
Arab world.

With an ideally equipped building that meets all the
requirements of special and general accreditation as
stipulated in the regulations of the Higher Education
Accreditation Council, and highly qualified faculty,
the envisioned university will be offering degrees in
Aviation Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, Airports
Management, Safety, Metrology and Instrumentation
Technology, with some of these programs designed
and offered in collaboration with other Jordanian
universities.

RJAF College of Aviation Sciences has already succeeded
in saving hundreds of thousands that used to be paid
for other local educational institutes where students
used to be sent for training. In the future, it is expected
that the College will be generating income as we hope
it would attract students from other Arab countries to
receive their degrees in Jordan.

Jordanian youth are aware of how privileged they
would be as students of RJAF College of Aviation
Sciences. Around 3,000 applications were submitted
to enroll in the 2019 class, but only 60 were admitted,
based on strict criteria, including grade 1-A in physical
fitness.
